The Importance Of Doing A Fall Detox

Every so often, we get the question “why should I do a seasonal detox”, and to answer that question we put forth this analogy: bathing is to your exterior what detoxing is to your interior.

Seasonal detoxes provide numerous amount of benefits, such as cleansing and re-balancing the body, as well as providing optimal internal hygiene.

As we change seasons, it is also important to focus in on specific organs to cleanse.

Every couple of months specific organs tend to work harder than others, and during the transition from summer to fall, your pancreas and spleen are usually the most active and insist upon extra attention and support.

Major digestive system imbalances have also been linked to stress in these organs. During the summer, sweeter foods are prioritized and now that such time is passing, it is important to re-balance from those indulgences and prepare your body for ingesting heavier and hearty foods.

The purpose of the fall detox is to provide support while actively detoxifying the body during a seasonal transition.
